MORE KUDOS!
I just finished reading
the world-class HomePage that our class has.
I need to capture
and digitize my thoughts on "crossing the digital
divide" in such a
professional way.
When Sonia started talking about a website, I
went full speed ahead to
help her because I sensed that she had 'great
administrative and
organizational' ability. Ja-Wohl. "Se,
es la Verdad!" Sonia is the
consummate professional: she is
obsessive about quality, detail (to the point
of almost needing medication
for it), and I love it! We, who used to
be the almost displaced,
rag-tag, ragamuffins "of the valley", look
good, look professional, and have
"taken it up" many, many "notches"
because of Sonja (I use her old spelling,
just to "tweak" her.
There is at least a 'double" message here: (1)
Quality expands the
market; (2) Better organized Quality expands it
faster!
Right now, I can "sense" the relationship between the karma of
helping
each other, crossing the 'digital divide' as a milepost in our
personal
and family development, with all the implications that "using High
Technology" brings. Kudos, class of '56 -- We are the "comeback kids",
on
our way to friendships, mutual learning and support, and the sense of
'paying' back into the National Karmic Bank!
Thrilled that the web
can be used so positively, and amazed by Sonja's
leadership, I am stopping
to say a prayer of thanks, then switching to
Decaf! Auciello. out

Sonia, Great job on the website . Thanks for all the energy you expended in getting it together and following through. . I will be happy to help in whatever way possible with a reunion. Another suggestion for a location is Konockti Harbor at Clearlake Ca. Fall or spring are probably the best of times.

We all wish you the very best. Now
you know about the web site, you will be
able to keep in contact with us all.
You are still part of our class, 3 months or 3 years. Please stay in touch
after you return from your honeymoon, because we are going to be working on a
class reunion, and we sure want you and your new partner to be
included.
Again Best of Wishes, Sincerely, Norma and the Class of 1956.

Hi Norma. You
probably didn't know me because I was only at Baldwin Park about 3 months to
finish out my school year. But I'm still in Northern California, fit
and able and getting married Saturday. Was widowed after 40
year marriage. The best to you, Wilmer (Tony) White

My Dear Classmates:
I have
discovered so many 'cool' classmates: The warm, witty Sonia;
the
gracious, sagacious, beautiful Norma Caylor; did I say that Judy is
a
Jewell, and Jesse tells the best stories, and knows the most stories.
At
San Dimas, I enlisted the very cool Eleanor Beckley, Carrie Bradley,
Claire,
Don Scurti, Pam (?) Compton, and Bill Willis
to join us online.
Cindy Hankins Fine is awesome, warm, witty, gracious, and looks into
your soul when she speaks. (Thankfully, she was not able to see much
within me because I had just been to confession.)
The 'super' thing
about class reunions is this 'ex post facto' thing: I
mean that if someone
knew you 46 years ago, and lightly knew of you
over the span, and knows you
now, it is if you bridge so many years and
get credit for a long, long
friendship. The logic behind this is that
if you connect two
dots (times) in your life and draw a straight line,
you can nearly
extrapolate / interpret the missing years!
Another spin on this
idea is that some people change so much in life --
their sons or daughters,
or grandchildren -- cause radical behavior
shifts!
Again, let
me "kudos" the Cal Rods, the "racing, raging Grandfathers of
BP" for the way
they run a "class" organization, and spread their
positive 'smack' all
around to those in contact with them!
Meeting at a casino is an "ok" idea
-- there will be the rooms, and
restaurants, and chances for 'breakout'
sessions as well as scheduled
group events. Don Scurti said the
Raging, racing grandfathers will come
with their chariots of fire with
enough notice.
I am looking for Dan Waldorf (he may be in
Colorado), and an email for
Cindy H, and contact with Alexina.
I think that 'tripping down memory lane' is a good thing, and that many
good friendships will come out of this.
Regards to all, Auciello.
Out. (Joseph Auciello). Simi Valley, CA

I would like to make comments about the
questions posed on the web about where to have the next mini type
reunion You named off various places and that's great; however, forget
Vegas in the summer. I know how hot it gets and it does so in St
George too. Now the winter time is very nice, say after the first week
of October. Then go to the Lucky Strike.
