I WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU ALL FOR THE CARDS AND LOVELY NOTES ALONG WITH THE E MAILS THAT I HAVE RECEIVED DUE TO THE PASSING OF MY DEAR SISTER. THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST COUPLE OF WEEKS IN MY LIFE, WE WERE SO CLOSE AND SPENT SO MUCH TIME TOGETHER AND THIS WAS TRULY UNEXPECTED. IT HAPPENED SO FAST THAT I’M SURE I HAVEN’T EVEN REALIZED THE TRUE IMPACT THAT IT WILL HAVE ON MY LIFE YET.
WE WILL CONTINUE TO TRY AND LET YOU KNOW WHEN ONE OF OUR CLASSMATES HAS A PROBLEM. ESPECIALLY NOW THAT I KNOW HOW MUCH IT MEANS. SO PLEASE KEEP US INFORMED, THAT BEING STEVE AND PAT, SONIA, OR MYSELF. WE ALL HAVE OUR COMPUTERS SET UP TO SEND TO THE ENTIRE CLASS WITH ONE E MAIL. SO KEEP US INFORMED.
I WAS SURE THAT HEARING FROM US WE COULD HELP ONE ANOTHER IN THEIR TIME OF NEED, AND NOW I KNOW JUST HOW MUCH THAT IT REALLY MEANS TO A PERSON.
THANKS FOR BEING THE BEST GROUP OF CLASSMATES ONE COULD ASK FOR, YOU HAVE REALLY MADE ME SO PROUD TO BELONG TO THE CLASS OF 56 FROM BPHS, AND I ONLY HOPE THAT WE CAN KEEP THIS GREAT GROUP OF PEOPLE TOGETHER FOR BOTH FUN AND SORROW FOR MANY YEARS TO COME.
AGAIN THANKS SO MUCH, SINCERELY,
NORMA CAYLOR PETTERSON

My dearest classmates,
As you know, Norma Caylor (Petterson) has done so much for all of us, tirelessly searching for missing classmates for over four years now. She worked so hard to make our 50th reunion something extra special for all of us.
Other than her husband and her sister, Norma has no children or close family. This evening her dearest, younger sister passed away. This loss is a devastating event for our Norma and now it is our turn to give back in a big way to a woman who has cared so much about all of us.
Please, do not hesitate to let her know how much you appreciate her as a classmate and how much you support her in her mourning.

It was great seeing everyone!! I think I'm still on a cloud of disbelief after being found after all these years and being able to attend my first reunion (celebrating 50 years). The Board needs to be thanked time and again for all the hard work and time that went into the planning . My husband, who is not a BPHS alumni, was very at ease with everyone being so friendly and nice. Wish we could have spent more time together . It went by so fast -GREAT JOB !!!! -THANKS !!!!!!

IT IS WITH DEEP SORROW IN MY HEART THAT I INFORM YOU THAT MY BEST FRIEND AND CLASS MATE BARBARA CARROLL MAYBERRY PASSED AWAY OCTOBER 5, 2006 FROM COLON CANCER.
SHE WOULD HAVE LIKED TO HAVE ATTENDED OUR REUNION BUT SHE HAD ME UNDER MY WORD THAT I WOULD NOT TELL A SOUL THAT SHE WAS ILL. I KEPT MY PROMISE EVEN THOUGH IT WAS VERY HARD. I DIDN’T EVEN KNOW WHAT THE REAL PROBLEM WAS. THAT WAS BARB.

Just to let everyone know, we did not make our trip to Laughlin NV for our 50th class reunion, because the night before we were to leave Gary had a heart attack. He is home and doing well, but is a little bored because he can't do very much right now. For all of you that were notified, thank you for all your prayers and good wishes. For the rest of you sorry about not letting you know, but this old brain of my has not been functioning very well lately. I think some of my brain cells have died. Again I want to thank you all for being my support group in thought, spirit, and prayer. They were very much appreciated. Gary will have to undergo bypass surgery as soon as he is strong enough. Will keep you informed.
Love, Olebroad

Hi Sonia: I couldn't agree with you more that the reunion was the greatest. I have been to almost every reunion, but this was the best!! Thanks to all those who worked so long to make it happen.
Since we live so far from home, we would love to have been able to have it in BP and give us a chance to see the school, our old houses, etc. Is the BP Hilton still there? I always thought that was an oxymoron.
As ever, Bobbie Pyatt
